Yes, though I can hardly believe it, we recently had our one year anniversary! Since its inception, Eat, Shop, Tour has been viewed 3,884 times by readers in 67 countries. Three hundred twenty-seven visitors even liked it enough to subscribe and receive new posts by email! For our second year, I will continue to work on building content, improving my writing skills, increasing followers, and showcasing more guest bloggers.
I have to confess, I technically missed the actual one year anniversary, in July, since the last couple of months of this year have left me grappling with complicated and distracting family matters that have required my full attention. It has been during this extremely busy time that I have been especially grateful to family, friends, coworkers, bosses and a couple of guest bloggers who have come together to help me keep me all the balls in the air during this crazy time. I am very bad about not asking for help when I should, so when I, every so often, realize there is a village around me, helping whether I have asked or not, I am humbled and oh so thankful.
I have missed travelling for fun and writing about it, and hope to get back to that soon. In the meantime, stay tuned for upcoming posts from guest bloggers and myself with tips on travelling closer to home, taking family vacations and more.
